Donald Clyde Lenox

Don was a dear friend and golfing buddy for 56 years. Rest In Peace Don.

I was so sad to learn of Mr. Lenox's passing. He was like a second father to me. I have so many fond memories of him. My love and prayers to all of you.

What a great photo of Uncle Don. Though there were years between the ages of all the nieces/nephews, he cared about us all and kept up with us. I loved that mischievous smile and that twinkle in his eyes that signaled he was teasing us and getting a quiet laugh out of our reactions. Much love to Aunt Doris, and cousins Dana and Randy.

Don was a good man and friend. He loved his family and friends, and was always ready and willing to help folks. We had a lot of good experiences together and I will always remember him as a great friend.

My prayers are with each of the family members. I loved this man (my uncle) who always had a smile on his face. He was definitely a true joy in my life. Aunt Doris, Dana and Randy.....I love you all and my heart is breading with yours.

There were a lot of fine young men who grew to be fine, astuste young Gentlemen, in various walks of life. Don was one of these. He was liked and repected by many. He will we be greatly missed. R.i.P.

Sheri contact me this morning to let me know of the death of Don. I immediately called mother and Aunt Dottie. We are saddened to learn of his death. We are sorry that we cannot make the trip to Hot Springs Village for the service on Tuesday. Mother is physically not up to a trip at this time. Don was a very nice person. I was one of his classmates. We dated in high school. My sincere condolences to his family.

Doris, we just read about Don's passing. Just wanted you to know that we were praying for you and the family in your time of loss.

Don was a super nice classmate and very enjoyable person that I had an opportunity to play a couple rounds of golf at class reunions and in earlier years participated in sport events at our local Pine Bluff Boys Club. My prayers will be with Don's family. I'm very sorry I cannot attend the reception because of health reasons.

Dear Doris, How sad I am that you have lost dear Don. He was a gentleman and had a great wit. I always enjoyed his company, and yours, at the bridge table and in the Fitness Center. Don was fun to be around and happily attended every event that included Doris's brothers and sisters. All of our family loved him.

I've known Don around 50 years. I always enjoyed playing golf and being around Don. We worked together at the Cotton Belt Railroad. My sincere condolences to the family during this difficult time.

Don was a wonder grandfather to both Max and Alex. I remember Max spending every summer with both Poppi and Mimi since he was 3 years old. They spent so much fun time together doing fun stuff like playing golf, eating ice cream, doing puzzles, wrestling of course wrestling, and Don was such a good sport about all of it. I'm sure the wrestling wore him out but he hung in there just to make Max happy and I know he loved it too. Also they did all kinds of ordinary stuff that was fun because it was with Poppi. They played golf everyday and he used to bring Max to eat breakfast with all his adult friends which Max thought was neat to hang out with the grown ups. My favorite thing about Don was he had a way about being funny without trying or meaning to. It used to crack me up. I'm so sad that he had to spend almost two years the way he did. He was very lucky to have a wife that loved him and stuck by him the way she did. They were both lucky to have each other even though it had to end this way. I am forever grateful for all the support they gave my family during difficult times and will always remember all they did. He will always be loved and missed dearly by myself, Max, and Alex. His imprint has made an impression that will last a lifetime and beyond. I'm glad you're not in pain anymore but it's not the same without you here. Max is feeling you gone already and ypu were so important to him that he'll never never be the same without his Poppi!
